The fastest and most reliable way to check your disability status is through the SSA’s online portal.

1. Visit www.ssa.gov/myaccount
2. Create a “my Social Security” account if you don’t already have one
3. Log in to view your claim status, updates, and any requests for additional information

This online service allows you to:

• See where your application is in the review process
• Check for notices or letters sent by the SSA
• Upload documents if requested
